At Camping Store, we want you to be completely satisfied with your outdoor gear purchases. If for any reason you’re not happy with your item, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process to get you back to your adventures quickly.
Our Return Policy
You may return most items within 15 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, in original condition with all tags attached
- Original packaging must be intact (including any protective sleeves or boxes)
- A proof of purchase must be provided
Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, the following items from our range cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty:
- Air Tube Replacements (hygiene reasons)
- Camping Cooking Equipment that shows signs of use
- Camp Lighting with broken seals
- Any item that has been used outdoors or shows signs of wear
How to Return an Item
Follow these simple steps to process your return or exchange:
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use our Return Request Template below to ensure we have all necessary information.
- Wait for Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions and your Return Authorization Number (RAN).
- Package Your Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging including all accessories and documentation.
- Ship Your Return: Send the package to our returns center at: Camping Store Returns

Edinburgh, GB EH5F 1SL We recommend using a trackable shipping service as you’re responsible for the item until it reaches us. - Receive Your Refund/Exchange: Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund or ship your replacement item.
Refund Processing
After we receive your return:
- Refund Timeframe: Allow 3-5 business days for processing after we receive your return. Your financial institution may take additional 2-5 business days to post the credit to your account.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): Processed back to your card
- PayPal: Processed back to your PayPal account
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost of standard shipping for the replacement item.
Exchanges
If you need a different size, color, or model:
- Follow the same return process above
- Clearly state in your email that you’re requesting an exchange and specify the replacement item
- If the replacement item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference
- If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference
Exchanges typically take 7-10 business days to process after we receive your return.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage/defect
- We’ll arrange for a free return shipping label if needed
- You’ll receive priority processing for your replacement or refund
International Returns
For customers outside the UK:
- You’re responsible for any customs fees or import taxes associated with the return
- We recommend marking the package as “Returned Goods” to potentially reduce fees
- Original shipping costs cannot be refunded for international orders
